We have a beautiful, clean, venue suited for a variety of events! Weddings, birthday’s, office Christmas parties, meetings, family reunions, etc. Come by and view our space by appointment. Hall rental includes: 

- 18 round tables (71” round)
- 32 Rectangular tables (3X6 feet)
- 15 Rectangular tables (1.8x6 feet)
- 144 chairs
- Wi-Fi
- AC Available
- Magnetic Strips for hanging Décor. (Magnet options avaliable)
- PA/Sound System not available.

Kitchen rental includes: 

- Full commercial kitchen
- 2 large double-door fridges
- One freezer
- 6 burner gas stove w/ two ovens
- Dishwasher/sanitizer.
- Two large coffee urns.
- Microwave
- Two large bar tops
 
Kitchen is supplied with 10” dinner plates, coffee cups/saucers, cutlery, and wine glasses. (Number of place settings is approximately 100 people, but not guaranteed)
 
Caterers are welcome. 

Our halld is Wheelchair accessible, and ample parking. Hall is adjacent to rink, Splash Park and Gold Bar playground.

All fees are due 3 weeks before the rental agreement begins, prices are subject to change without notice. Cash, Credit, and Cheques are accepted. (**Transaction fees apply to credit card payments. Cheques accepted no less than 30 days before event date**)

 *Skate Shack/Social Room available to rent April-November (Skate Shack is open to public skating during rink season Dec-Mar, inquire with Hall Manager for hours of operation.)

The ability to rent all rooms exclusively is an option pending availability, please inquire with hall manager for pricing. 

Damage Deposit/Reservation Policy

A full damage deposit is required to reserve your booking date(s). Damage deposits are refunded within 30 days of post-inspection of your rental agreement period, pending no damages. 

Entire Facility: $700 or equal to the rental fee, whichever is greater. 

Main Hall/Kitchen: $500

Social Room/Meeting Room: $300

Cash, Credit and Cheque are accepted for payments.  (**Transaction fees apply to credit card payments. Cheques accepted no less than 30 days before event date**)

Cancellation Policy: 

100% of the damage deposit is non-refundable if a cancellation is made within 30 days of the start date of a rental agreement period. 

Hall Access:

Weekday (Sunday-Thursday) rentals - Arrival and Departure times are subject to availability. Hourly rentals are available, however a rental over 6 hours is considered a full-day rental. The hall must be vacated by no later than 11 pm. 

Weekends (Friday-Saturday) - Arrival is Noon, departure is 2 am the next day. (If renting Friday / Saturday, you can arrive noon on Friday, and the hall needs to be cleaned and vacant by 2 am on the Sunday morning). Saturday and Friday are full day rentals only. 

Vehicles can be left and picked up the following day. 

All renters require at least $2,000,000 liability insurance and name Gold Bar Community League as the additionally insured. This must cover every day of the rental. Visit DUUO and NFP to get insurance quotes. 

Host liquor liability coverage (third-party liquor liability insurance) must be included in the policy for any and every day liquor is on the premises/property and/or consumed in the building. For events where there is a cost for entry, a Special Event Liquor License is required. This insurance is in addition to the liquor license. Proof of liability insurance and licensing is required prior to start of the agreement period. We recommend Foster Park Brokers Inc. or DUUO for your insurance needs. All renters must be at least 18 years of age.

We've installed decorative metal rails along the Main Hall to let you easily put up decorations JUST using magnets. (No more tape!)

(Please no nails, tape, etc on any of the walls, we want to keep our hall looking great for future guests.)

No, Gold Bar Hall does not have a PA or Sound System installed. 

Gold Bar has installed a Fob access system. The hall manager will meet with you ahead of time to provide you with a designated fob so that you may gain access to the hall during your rental period.

Absolutely, all caterers with proper insurance are welcome.
Our commercial kitchen includes, a full six burner gas range stove with two ovens, and a flat top grill. We also have a small microwave and two natural gas BBQs. (BBQs are available to rent for $25 each).
We also have two, two-door fridge coolers, a freezer, dishwasher and two large coffee urns.

No, anyone serving alcohol must be 18 years of age or older. Liquor permit provided by Alberta Liquor and Gaming Commission (AGLC) is required onsite during your rental.

All renters are responsible for the set-up and take down/clean-up off the hall during their rental agreement period. If your event is on a Saturday evening, and you do not wish to clean up that same evening. You will be required to book the Sunday or a portion thereof to complete your cleaning. Extra rental fees will apply and is based on availability.

The hall must be in the same condition as when you began your rental agreement period. If the hall is discovered not cleaned properly during the post-inspection, a fee of $75/hr will be deducted from the damage deposit for every hour required to return the hall to its original state.

All cleaning supplies required are provided by the League.

It is required that all rentals attain at least $2 million liability insurance naming Gold Bar Hall as the additional insured, even for a few hours. It is to protect you as a renter, as well as the League in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Yes, at your discretion. Please keep in mind our floor is very hard and slippery. Proper insurance is required.

Yes, Food trucks, caterers, and entertainers are welcome. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure all 3rd party businesses have appropriate Liability insurance.
